Kakamega leaders to form a strong political base for Mudavadi’s Presidency
Elected and non-elected leaders from Kakamega County have today vowed to form a strong political force towards 2022 in a quest to support ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi’s Presidential candidacy. Led by Lugari Mp and Kakamega Gubernatorial aspirant Ayub Savula, Lurambi Mp Titus Khamala, Matungu Lawmaker Justus Murunga, Mumias East political activist David Wamatsi and former MCA Alex Khamasi the leaders addressed their mutual concerns in uniting the entire Luhya nation to solidify their support towards Mudavadi’s candidacy.
Speaking today during a fundraiser at Eshuandukusi Secondary School in Lurambi Constituency, Lugari Mp Ayub Savula said that it was only Luhya unity that would see Mudavadi gain much support across the entire country.
“Our appeal to Luhya nation is unity for a purpose, we need to shun away from divisive politics and forge ahead as a community towards bringing long-awaited Presidency in Luhya Nation. Our unity will encourage other communities in the county to support our journey.” Said Savula
Lurambi Mp Titus Khamala echoed the sentiments urging the community to rally behind Musalia Mudavadi.
“Our time to enjoy the fruits of this great nation rests in the hands of Musalia Mudavadi. Lets all rally behind our soldier in order to achieve our dreams as a community and a nation at large.” Said Khamala
Savula took the podium to seek for Kakamega Residents support towards his gubernatorial bid in 2022.
