Kakamega County Women Representation Mrs. Elsie Busihile Muhanda has been ranked 6th best performing Women Mp nationally. NAIROBI MINI BLOGGERS POLLS today released a survey report which was carried out on the dates of 20th April – 26th April 2018 based on sample size of 2208 Voters placing Mrs Muhanda among top best performing Women Representatives.

Mrs Elsie Muhanda, now serving her first term after her election is ranked top best performing Women Representative in the counties found in the former Western Kenya Province; Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia, Bungoma and Transnzioa Counties.

Her exemplerary performance is derived on her current work across the 60 Wards of Kakamega County. Mrs. Muhanda whom many have praised on her frequent touch on the groundwork has initiated various projects ranging from Water Boreholes Programmes across the county – The water boreholes are meant to challenge water acute in some parts of the county,  training and licensing of youthful drivers in the county, empowering women and youths groups through the National Affirmative Action Funds (NGAAF), child education support, Empowering business people in open markets by facilititating umbrellas to curb heavy sunlight and rainfalls, supporting People Living with Disabilities, orphans, widows among other challenged groups.

Hon Elsie Muhanda at the just concluded Fifth Devolution Conference in Kakamega being honored with a gift from the County Government of Kakamega for her exemplary performance and service to the people of Kakamega County.
