Kenyan soccer fans in Kakamega resisted to cheer up Uganda cranes because Museveni attended Uhuru’s inauguration

It was fan and extremely fanatic at the newly Bukhungu stadium when Ugandan soccer Team, the cranes kissed the ground with the Burundi team, a match that many did not anticipate to attract lots of soccer fans unlike the Sunday match between Kenya’s Harambee Stars and Rwanda’s Amavumbi, (Kinyarwanda name meaning bitter wasps) that attracted thousands of fans filling Bukhungu stadium to the brim.

Yesterday we all expected an extremely low turn out at the stadium following two foreign teams playing in the Kakamega field in a CECAFA tournament but believe me or not people came in numbers not to cheer up the neighborhood team, Uganda cranes but to support the Burundi team that is millions of miles away from the Kenyan territory, reason Burundi as a country never participated in the Kenyan politics that brought President Uhuru Kenyatta’s second inauguration as the President of the Republic of Kenya. Most of the fans cheered up Burundi  because the cranes is associated with President Museveni whom they (a section of fans aligned to Nasa) accused of supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reelection, an election they allege to have been marred with irregularities. However, the fans maintained discipline through the game which ended a draw.
